ХИАС (HIAS - Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society)
Одна из старейших американских неправительственных организаций, которая уже более 125 лет оказывает помощь беженцам и мигрантам из разных стран мира. Штаб-квартира ХИАС находится в Нью-Йорке. В настоящее время офисы и программы ХИАС работают в 9 странах Африки, Евразии и Южной Америки, помогая различным группам беженцев и мигрантов. В частности, сотрудники программ ХИАС «Консультации для мигрантов» в Москве и Киеве предлагают помощь гражданам стран бывшего Советского Союза, обращающимся к правительству Соединенных Штатов с просьбой предоставить им статус беженца.
